OUR PROGRAM
Who we are
Young Creators Studio was founded out of a shared love for the arts—and the realization that most children’s programs focus on stand-alone daily activities without much connection or flow. We wanted something different: a camp where creativity builds day by day, leading to a meaningful final performance that celebrates every camper’s imagination. With Emily’s extensive background in dramatic and performing arts and Brian’s lifelong passion for drawing, creativity, and fine arts, we set out to design the kind of program we would have thrived in as kids—one that develops skills, sparks curiosity, and nurtures confidence.
WEEKLY Schedule
Programming
Art
Campers dive into creative art projects that encourage imagination, self-expression, and the development of artistic skills.
Campers get hands-on with colourful materials and fun techniques, exploring what happens when they let their artistic curiosity lead.
Afternoon studio time brings campers together to design and create the sets, props, and costume pieces for the final performance.
Collaborative art-making builds confidence, teamwork, and the joy of seeing their imaginative ideas come to life.
Drama
Campers reinvent a familiar fairytale with imaginative twists, new dialogue, and creative character swaps, then share their original version in a fun final performance for family and friends.
Fun improv games, collaborative storytelling moments, and hands-on character exploration inspire creativity and boost confidence.
Through expressive voice work, bold movement activities, and playful character exploration, campers experiment with how to bring their ideas to life on stage.
Drama sessions nurture teamwork, communication, and social-emotional growth, helping campers feel confident and supported as they create together.
Location
Both our March Break Camp and Summer Camps run out of Roncesvalles United Church, located at 214 Wright Avenue.
