FAQ’s
What will my child do in drama?
In our drama program, campers will take creative control as they reimagine a familiar fairytale—adding dialogue, changing characters, or inventing new twists to make the story their own. Along the way, they’ll build confidence, strengthen social-emotional skills, and discover the joy of collaboration through fun drama games in storytelling, improv, and character work.
What will my child do in art?
In our art program, campers will explore a variety of creative projects that build artistic skills while celebrating their unique ideas. In the afternoons, they’ll collaborate on designing sets, props, and costumes for the final performance. Along the way, campers will gain confidence, practice teamwork, and experience the joy of bringing their imagination to life through art.
Can I sign my child up for multiple sessions?
Absolutely! Each session offers a fresh experience in both drama and art, with new projects, techniques, and creative themes designed to keep camp exciting for both new and returning campers. Our art and drama curriculum evolves every session, and since each performance is shaped by the campers themselves, every show is a unique and memorable experience!
Is there a final performance?
Yes! On the final day of camp, families and friends are invited to enjoy a special performance of the play created by the campers throughout the week. There will also be an art gallery showcase featuring each camper’s work. After the performance, campers will take home their artwork—masterpieces and memories included!
Do extended hours cost extra?
No need to worry! YCS Camp offers complimentary extended care before and after regular camp hours—it's included in your tuition. We're here to make your family's schedule a little easier!
